<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing system and method having superior binary resolution conversion function. <P>SOLUTION: The data processing system and the method is provided with data processing modules, provided with a first 1-bit data input for receiving a first data group, associated with horizontal and vertical edges in an image and horizontal and vertical fine lines in the image; a second 1-bit data input for receiving a second data group, associated with inclined edges and inclined lines in the image and objects in the image; 1-bit tag data entry to receive the data associated with detected data for the image edges and image fine lines; and 1-bit data output for the first data input to provide the data output, if the tag data input indicates the image edges; and otherwise the image fine lines or for the second video data input that provides the data output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
