PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination system, generator, determination apparatus and method or the like for preventing illegal distribution of regular articles, distribution of false articles or impersonation of a regular user in article distribution management or the like. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a determination system comprising a generator for generating regular information to be imparted to an article and a determination apparatus which determines whether information imparted to the article is regular information or not, wherein the generator comprises a generation means for generating encryption information associated with unique information for each article and imparted to the relevant article as regular information on the basis of the relevant identification information, and the determination apparatus comprises an information acquisition means for acquiring information imparted to an article as encryption information, a decoding means for decoding the acquired encryption information to generate decoded identification information as the identification information, and an information determination means for determining whether the acquired encryption information is regular information or not based on the form of the generated decoded identification information and the regular form of the identification information.
