<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness when random access is performed. <P>SOLUTION: A moving image processing apparatus comprises: a moving image file generating means for generating an MP4 file 306 in a moving image file format comprised of a data region for multiplexing and recording video data and audio data and a regenerative information region containing attached information of the video data and audio data; a file management means for generating a thumbnail file 307 in which a representative image in the MP4 file 306 generated by the moving image file generating means is recorded as thumbnail data, and managing the MP4 file 306 and the thumbnail file 307 while relating to each other; and a recording means for embedding regenerative information of the MP4 file 306 and recording it in the thumbnail file 307. Thus, at a point of time when the thumbnail file is acquired, regenerative information of a moving image can be acquired, thereby immediately reproducing the moving image without trouble. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
