<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a data distribution method for enhancing the efficiency of data transmission on the occurrence of communication errors and preventing a load imposed on a receiver from being increased. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system includes a transmitter that transmits coded symbols from a first coded symbol set of coded symbols resulting from coding distribution data by using codes enabling redundancy of data to be coded, and the receiver for receiving the coded symbols and decoding the received coded symbols, the receiver includes a means for transmitting reception amount information 110 representing a received amount of the coded symbols on the occurrence of decoding failure to the transmitter, and the transmitter includes a means for determining the coded symbols to be additionally distributed on the basis of the reception amount information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
