<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular electro-hydraulic brake device having a brake-by-wire function which is simple in structure, highly reliable and inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: A master cylinder connected to the wheel brakes is equipped with a planetary gear mechanism capable of selecting and transmitting either higher input of a brake operator and a motor, and a stroke simulator for limiting the stroke consumption when the input of the brake operator is selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
