PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device reducing a frictional load and an inertial load on a head and improving an operationality. SOLUTION: The image display device has a main body being fitted to the head of a user and outputting an image and a supporter movably supporting the main body. In the image display device, the supporter has a supporting section movably supporting the main body while being synchronized with the movement of the head of the user and a detector detecting a force generated in response to the movement of the head of the user.
