PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic conductive film capable of preventing the short-circuiting between terminals that are adjacent in a face direction, connecting upper and lower terminals reliably, and suppressing an increase in connection resistance. SOLUTION: The anisotropic conductive film 1 comprises an insulating adhesive film 11, and a conductive particle 12. When the number of conductive particles held between connection members is set to A and the number of conductive particles existing between the connection members after connecting the connection members is set to B before connecting the connection members (a terminal 312 and an ITO film 322) arranged opposingly while sandwiching the anisotropic conductive film 1, the average value of the capturing rate of the anisotropic conductive film 1 shown by B/A is equal to or higher than 25%. The resin flow coefficient of the anisotropic conductive film 1 is equal to or higher than 1.2 and is equal to or smaller than 2.0, and temperatures when the viscosity of the anisotropic conductive film 1 starts to increase are equal to or higher than 60°C, and are qual to or lower than 130°C in the measurement of dynamic viscoelasticity at a temperature increase speed of 10°C/minute and at a frequency of 0.1 Hz.
