PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a support structure for attaching a metering diaphragm to a wing plate, in a diaphragm gas meter to facilitate assembly work of the diaphragm gas meter. SOLUTION: Gas is introduced into a first metering chamber (A), in a state as indicated by a dotted line, the metering diaphragm 7 is bent to the side of a second metering chamber (B) as indicated by a solid line, and the gas in the second metering chamber (B) is discharged to the outside of the meter body. In a hinge-frame reciprocating movement range in actual usage state of the meter from the state indicated by the solid line, in which the first metering chamber (A) is filled with the gas to a state indicated by the dotted line in which the second metering chamber (B) is filled with the gas, a drop-off preventing protrusion 9, integrally molded with a hinge frame 5 interferes with a drop-off preventing piece 10, formed around an axial through-hole 4 of a diaphragm plate 3, and the hinge frame 5 is prevented from coming off the wing plate 3. When inserting a hinge shaft 6 into the axial through-hole 4 at the assembling of the meter, the drop-off prevention protrusion 9 does not interfere with the drop-off prevention piece 10, and the hinge shaft 6 can be inserted therein.
