PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photogravure plate cell shape measuring apparatus capable of eliminating the influence of reflected light from an inner wall of a cell and precisely measuring the shape of the cell. SOLUTION: The photogravure plate cell shape measuring apparatus has a camera microscope 2 having a polarization angle changing means 20, and picks up a plurality of cell images at different polarization angles. When the photogravure plate cell shape measuring apparatus measures the shape of the cell, the apparatus composes cell images with an average brightness higher than a certain value among the plurality of picked up cell images to form one composite image, and measures the shape of the cell using the formed composite image.
