PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear reactor output distribution measuring system for full-time measurement having a simple and easy-to-replace structure and a nuclear reactor output distribution measuring method. SOLUTION: This nuclear reactor output distribution measuring system for measuring output distribution inside a reactor core stored in a nuclear reactor pressure vessel is equipped inside the pressure vessel with: a plurality of heating units provided at a plurality of longitudinal positions of fuel rods for generating heat according to the dose of gamma rays generated owing to nuclear fission; and optical fiber provided at positions with heat from the heating units transmitted thereto. This system is equipped outside a nuclear reactor containment vessel for therein storing the pressure vessel with a temperature distribution measuring part for finding temperature distribution at a plurality of positions as information serving as a basis for finding output distribution based on Raman scatter light in the optical fiber.
