PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft coupling for transmitting power between two parallel shafts via a rolling element arranged at an intersecting position of guide grooves perpendicular to each other while changing a eccentricity possible range according to working conditions. SOLUTION: At both edges of an oblong hole 7 of a cage 4 storing a steel ball (the rolling element) 3, stoppers 8 are mounted for restricting the rolling range of the steel ball 3 while closing the end of the oblong hole 7. Thus, eccentricity between both plates (rotating members) 1, 2 is restricted to change the eccentricity possible range according to working conditions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
