PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass external facing structure capable of having the excellence in aesthetic nature, insulating and sound isolation effect and raising flexibility of an architectural design and a glass external facing unit. SOLUTION: The glass external facing structure is so constituted that approximately square cylindrical glass units 4 formed by putting a plurality of sheets of channel glass 1 together from an outdoor 2 side and an indoor 3 side are continuously arranged on the external facing surface A in a standing state, the channel glass 1 on the outdoor 2 side is adhered and fixed across approximately the overall length to each of inner wall surfaces 5 of side wall sections 1b opposed to each other and, at the same time, that it is supported on a building skeleton 8 side from an indoor 3 side through an external facing supporting member 7 closing opening sections 6 of both up and down end sections of the glass unit 4 arranged on the indoor 3 surface side.
