PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella which has a guiding member shaped in a spiral around an outer peripheral face of a center shaft, can easily remove waterdrops on the umbrella by rotary ribs according to rotation of a runner based on the guiding member. SOLUTION: A guiding convex part 10 formed in a helical shape around an outer circumference face of a center shaft 2 of an umbrella 1 is formed, a guide recess 17 which engages with the guiding convex part 10 is formed on an inner peripheral face of a central rotation part 15 of a runner 6, and they are composed so that outer ribs 7 and inner ribs 8 can rotate in the predetermined direction according to rotation of the runner 6 while the runner 6 is raised/lowered.
