The panel-type television includes a display panel which may be heated to a considerably high temperature when it is in use, a main substrate 20 arranged in the vicinity of the display panel, an electronic device 20 a mounted on the main substrate 20 , an exothermic device 20 b mounted on the main substrate 20 so as to be arranged on a portion of the main substrate 20 which is lower than the electronic device 20 a, and a bulkhead member 23 arranged between the display panel and the main substrate 20 so as to shield right, left and lower portions of the electronic device 20 a and so as to be substantially perpendicular to the main substrate 20 , so that the bulkhead member 23 is arranged between the electronic device 20 a and the exothermic device 20 b and the electronic device 20 a is not subjected to heat of the exothermic device 20 b.
