A detergent box assembly of a washing machine is provided to stably maintain insertion state of a detergent box into a detergent introduction hole by catching a holding piece on the rear surface of a drawer panel by a detergent introduction hole. A detergent box assembly of a washing machine includes a cabinet, a control panel(200), a detergent box, a drawer panel(170), and a fixing unit. The cabinet forms the appearance of the washing machine. The control panel is installed at an upper portion of the front surface of the cabinet. A detergent introduction hole is formed in the control panel. The detergent box is withdrawably received through the detergent introduction hole of the control panel. A detergent is stored in the detergent box. The drawer panel is assembled on the front surface of the detergent box. The fixing unit fixes the drawer panel to the control panel when the detergent box is received.
