The present invention provides an organic potassium fertilizer comprising an organic potassium salt and urea. The chemical structural formula of the organic potassium salt is R-COOK, wherein R is at least one of CH<SUB>3</SUB>- CH<SUB>3</SUB>CH<SUB>2</SUB>- CH<SUB>3</SUB>COCH<SUB>2</SUB>CH<SUB>2</SUB>- CH<SUB>3</SUB>CHNH<SUB>2</SUB>- and HOOCCH<SUB>2</SUB>CH<SUB>2</SUB>- K is potassium. The ratio of the organic potassium salt and urea is 100:(1-37.5). Such fertilizer contains organic acid and inorganic nutrient which consists of potassium and nitrogen, wherein the amount of urea can reach to 27.3%, while the content of nitrogen increases by 12.56%. The invention provides a new liquid organic compound fertilizer which satisfies the need of crop nutrition.
