A safety opening and closing container for dangerous articles is provided to prevent children from opening a container body by opening and closing the container body through two steps and to check a locked state by generating friction noise in turning a lid part and eliminating the friction noise if the lid part is set in the safety lock release position. The safety opening and closing container(10) for dangerous articles is composed of a container part(100) having a hanging sill(130) protruded inward and provided with an inward groove partially formed at the lower side of an inlet end portion(110), and a guide sill(120) formed along the lower outer periphery; a lid part(200) rotatably combined to the hanging sill of the container part by a belt unit(210), and provided with a cover unit(220) integrally connected to the belt unit by a connecting link(212) and joined to the inlet end portion to be opened or shut; and a safety locking unit(300) combined to the lid part with facing downward in a vertical direction so as to integrally interlock with the lid part and selectively open and close the lid part by disposing a locking projection(320) protruded outward at the hanging sill or the inward groove by the rotation of the lid part.
