<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the output of a fuel cell by maintaining the evaporated amount of liquid fuel, even when the concentration of the liquid fuel is lowered by the mixing of water inside a fuel tank. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 1, such as DMFC, is equipped with a membrane electrode assembly, having a fuel electrode, an air electrode, and an electrolyte membrane interposed by these as a fuel battery cell 2. Evaporation components of the liquid fuel F, stored in the fuel tank 3, are supplied to the fuel electrode of the fuel battery cell 2 via a gas-liquid separation layer 4. A liquid supply member 14, which makes the evaporation area of the liquid fuel F increase according to the concentration fall of the liquid fuel F, is installed in the fuel tank 3 as a fuel control means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
