PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter capable of simplifying manufacturing processes; to provide a method of manufacturing the color filter; to provide a liquid crystal display device provided with the color filter; and to provide electronic equipment on which the liquid crystal display device is mounted.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the color filter 1 comprises: a bank forming process of forming banks 3 on a substrate 2; a protrusion forming process of forming protrusions 4 by irradiating a photosensitive resin 15 applied on the substrate 2 with ultraviolet laser beams 18; a first discharge process of discharging first liquid material as a material of a coloring matter film 5; a first solidifying process of solidifying the first liquid material 10 to form the coloring matter film 5 having first protrusion parts 5a; a second discharge process of discharging second liquid material 12 as a material of a transparent electrode film 6; a second solidifying process of solidifying the second liquid material 12 to form the transparent electrode film 6 having second protrusion parts 6a; a third discharge process of discharging third liquid material 13 as a material of an alignment film 7; and a third solidifying process of solidifying the third liquid material 13 to form the alignment film 7 having third protrusion parts 7a.
