<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and efficiently separate even a large window glass from a car body. <P>SOLUTION: This separating device for window glass includes: a movable carriage 6 to which a cutter 5 is connected; a driving rod 8 for moving the movable carriage 6 in the cutting direction of the cutter 5; a driving mechanism 7 connected to the driving rod 8 to move the movable carriage 6 by the rotating driving rod 8; a guide 9 for moving the movable carriage 6 along the driving rod 8; a motor for rotating the driving rod 8; a support 10 rotatably connecting the end part of the driving rod 8 to the guide 9; and a sucker 11 removably mounting the guide 9 on a window glass 3. In the separating device, the guide 9 is mounted on the window glass 3 through the sucker 11, the cutter 5 is inserted in an adhesive 4 between a window frame part 2 and the window glass 3, and the cutter 5 is moved by the movable carriage 6 along the peripheral edge of the window glass 3 to cut the adhesive 4 between the window glass 3 and the window frame part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
