<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail post and a handrail device by which alignment of positions of holes for insertion of a bolt or the like is facilitated and the work related to fitting is simplified. <P>SOLUTION: A recessed groove 4 continued in a vertical direction is formed in an outer surface of an upper post 1. When an insertion element 3 is inserted into a through hole 6 in a state that it is not inserted into a fitting hole 5, displacement of the upper post 1 in right and left directions is suppressed without disturbing the vertical movement of the upper post 1 as the recessed groove 4 serves as a guide for the insertion element 3 upon fitting of the upper post 1 to the lower post 2 or upon height adjustment of the upper post 1, displacement of the insertion element 3 and the fitting hole 5 in the right and left directions Y1 does not occur, the fitting can be carried out only by vertical alignment of the positions, alignment of the positions of the through hole 6 and the fitting hole 5 is facilitated, and the work related to the fitting can be simplified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
