<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of suppressing the decline of interest accompanying the complication of game content without making the process of generating a special game state monotonous. <P>SOLUTION: When an entry to a middle start port is detected by a middle start detection means 401, drawing by a first special pattern drawing means 400 is held in a first holding means 428. When an entry to upper and lower start ports is detected by an upper and lower start detection means 403, drawing by a second special pattern drawing means 402 is held in a second holding means 430.
