PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption when controlling display/non-display of an arbitrary region. SOLUTION: A display device includes a display panel having a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of signal lines and a driving circuit for driving the display panel. The driving circuit includes; a shift register circuit which successively outputs first to n-th (n≥2) shift pulses at intervals of a prescribed period on the basis of an input transfer clock; n pieces of first transistors to which the first to n-th shift pulses outputted from the shift register circuit are applied; and n pieces of signal line scan circuit. Respective first transistors sample a scan line driving clock on the basis of the first to n-th shift pulses outputted from the shift register circuit and output first to n-th scan voltages for scan lines, and respective signal line scan circuits output first to n-th prescribed voltages for signal lines on the basis of the first to n-th shift pulses outputted from the shift register circuit, an AC signal, an inverted AC signal, and the transfer clock.
