PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide display equipment obtaining excellent characteristics such as durability and high precision by possessing a high modulus of elasticity and mechanical strength in an insulated base substance of a tape carrier semiconductor package and using a specific polyimide film without causing strain and connection inferiority due to thermal history. SOLUTION: In the display equipment using a direct visual thin display element receiving a drive signal through the tape carrier semiconductor package mounting a plurality of semiconductor chips on a tape substrate a polyimide film having a curl degree of 10% or less at 300°C in the insulated base substance of the tape carrier semiconductor package is used. A particular polyimide film to be used has a linear expansion coefficient of 2-15 ppm/°C, and a main component comprising polyimidebenzooxazole obtained by aromatic diamines has benzooxazole structure react with aromatic tetracarboxylic acid anhidrides.
