SOLUTION: In the wheel bearing device in a fourth-generation structure, a shaft part 20 is pressed into the hub ring 1 via a predetermined interference, the end of a fitting part is integrally welded and joined to a joint part 11 in the state of imparting predetermined pre-load to a double-raw rolling bearing 2, a pitch circle diameter PCDi of a ball 6b on the inner side of double-raw balls 6a, 6b is set to be larger than a pitch circle diameter PCDo of the ball 6a on the outer side, the double-raw balls have the same size, and the number of balls 6b on the inner side is set to be greater than the number of the balls on the outer side.
