PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device having improved strength without changing the size while keeping manufacturing cost unchanged from conventional one by balancing the strength of one bevel gear with that of the other gearing therewith. SOLUTION: The gear device comprises the plurality of bevel gears rotatably held on a frame and having teeth gearing with each other. A chamfering or rounding size M of a large end 5 of the tooth face of the bevel gear inferior in strength is greater than a rounding size m of the other bevel gear gearing therewith.
