摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an initial setting device for a fuel injection device capable of uniforming the injection amount from each injector even if a wrong input about correction values for uniforming the injection amount from each injector is produced by a worker in the fuel injection device having the injector for each cylinder. SOLUTION: An ECU forming the initial setting device has the function of an injection characteristic acquiring means for acquiring a rotation variation amount for each cylinder based on the correction values temporarily input for each cylinder before the correction values are stored for each cylinder and a correction value replacement determination means for determining whether the correction values are replaced or not between the cylinders according to the difference in rotation variable amount between the cylinders. When the correction values are replaced between the cylinders, the rotation variation amount is acquired again by the injection characteristic acquiring means for each cylinder. The ECU also has the function of a correction value replacement determination means for determining again whether the correction values are replaced or not between the cylinders according to the difference between the cylinders. Consequently, even if the wrong input about the correction values is produced by the worker, the difference in rotation variation amount between the cylinders can be converged near zero to suppress the dispersion of the injection amounts.
