<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement transits among networks with less amount of delay in an on-board communication system. <P>SOLUTION: In an on-board communication system where ECU connected to multiple networks NT0 to NT4 makes communications in accordance with protocol of CAN including the ID for specifying the transmission destination to the first information region of communication frame, a repeater 51 to realize transits among networks sequentially outputs, from a receiving circuit block 11, each bit of communication frame transmitted to the network of the transit source from any ECU and stores this bit into a FIFO buffer 53. Moreover, an ID retrieval table memory 14 operating in parallel with the buffer 53 determines a transit destination of the communication frame on the basis of the first ID in the communication frame from the receiving circuit block 11. When the transit destination is determined, a transit destination switching circuit 17 supplies each bit from the buffer 53 to a transmitting circuit block (any of TX0 to TX3) for transmitting data to such transit destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
