<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing powder easily dispersed and dissolved in cold food and drink comprising a method for preventing generation of undissolved lumps of flour in low-temperature solution, by which a powdery composition containing powdery food and drink is rapidly and homogeneously dispersed in the solution: and to provide a new powdery composition. <P>SOLUTION: The powdery composition is used as a dispersant containing triacetin, and contains the dispersant. Powdery food and drink obtained by addition of the triacetin is provided as an illustrative embodiment of the present invention.
