<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary developing device which efficiently collects an excessive developer without lowering productivity even when developing units are arranged at irregular intervals. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary developing device 40 has: a rotary body 38 on which the developing units 42 equipped with developer cartridges 48 are mounted at irregular intervals; a reservoir parts 51 which are provided to the developing units 42 and where excessive developers T produced for the reason developers are supplied from the developer cartridges 48, are temporarily reserved; and a control part 36 which controls a stop time of the rotary body 38 to discharge the excessive developers T reserved in the reservoir parts 51 through gravitation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
