<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively utilize various kinds of services also in response to an instruction from any operating part other than an operating part of an apparatus such as an MFP. <P>SOLUTION: An operating part event interpretation section 502 of an MFP 10 interprets an event from an operation display section 501 or a remote operation display section 600 and if that event is a service execution request, that execution request is transmitted to a service offering section 503. When the service execution request from the operating part event interpretation section 502 is received, the service offering means inquires a utilization situation of the service requested to be executed to a service resource management section 505 and if it is determined from a result of the inquiry that service can be executed, an execution request of a corresponding device is issued to a device control section 504, thereby controlling operations of that device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
