PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing method which achieve reduction in a load necessary for designation of a conceal region of an output image to be concealed. SOLUTION: The image processor includes: a generating means for generating an image pattern corresponding to code data for expressing designation of concealment for designating a type of information to be concealed; and a composite means for composing the image pattern with an output image. Through the above configuration, since the conceal information can be designated depending on the type of the information to be concealed, a load of designating the position of the information to be concealed can be reduced.
