PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a hybrid vehicle enhancing durability of a planetary gear set, reducing noise and minimizing torque generated when the vehicle is parked on a slope. SOLUTION: The power transmission device for the hybrid vehicle includes a first shaft for receiving transmission of the motive power; the planetary gear set including a sun gear, a planetary carrier and a ring gear; a generator and a motor; a second shaft for receiving transmission of the power from the first shaft; a drive sprocket for transmitting the motive power from the ring gear; a driven sprocket for receiving transmission of the motive power from the first shaft; a chain for transmitting the motive power from the drive sprocket to the driven sprocket; a third shaft for receiving transmission of the motive power from the second shaft; a fourth shaft for receiving transmission of the decelerated motive power; an axial support part; and a both-direction support part for supporting the planetary gear set in an axial direction and in a vertical direction of the shaft.
