PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrically connect a contact terminal of an ink cartridge side provided for outputting of an electrical signal from a sensor mounted on an ink cartridge, and the sensor with each other by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The sensor, a cover member 33 and a substrate 32 are provided in the ink cartridge. The sensor outputs the electrical signal in accordance with a quantity to a quantity of ink. The cover member 33 is fixed to a cartridge body and covers at least a part of the sensor. The substrate 32 has an input terminal 32e on one face (back surface) and an output terminal 32d at the other face (front face). The input terminal 32e is fixed to the cover member 33 and receives a contact of an electrode terminal of the sensor. The electrical signal from the sensor is inputted to the input terminal 32e.
