PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge pump circuit controller, capable of performing a magnification shift at an appropriate timing, corresponding to the case where even the actual load current is changed and obtaining the desired output voltage at high efficiency at all times. SOLUTION: A magnification switching decision means 11c compares a decision voltage Vb that depends on the load current, connected to an input voltage terminal with a voltage obtained by dividing the output voltage Vout into 1/(magnification that is about to be switched to), and drops the magnification, when the voltage divided into 1/(magnification that is about to be switched to) is lower than the output voltage.
