PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a FIR filter which can perform linear and nonlinear filtering, in a time synchronous system which obtains measurement value at a point in time decided by a stimulus. SOLUTION: In the finite impulse response (FIR) filter (FIRTS) for the time synchronous system, the FIRTS has a controller which can receive input data collected in unequal intervals; and a FIR filter which is controlled by the controller, has an impulse response, integrates I(k) the impulse response in a temporal region approximated by using the input data, and outputs the filtered data.
