PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone in which a caller can be connected with an extension telephone in a company by using the same telephone number and performing the same calling operation regardless of whether the portable telephone of the caller is located in a WOS system area or not. SOLUTION: In case of the outside of the service area of WOS system, a connection impossible signal and a voice message are received from a mobile exchange. In response to that connection impossible signal, a portable telephone performs disconnection processing, re-originates an exclusive special number while converting into an outside line number and connecting with a PBX.
