PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor that insulation between a cathode and anode is made more surer and a thickness in the lamination direction of a capacitor element is thinner; and to provide its solid electrolytic capacitor manufacturing method. SOLUTION: Silver paste layers 12c, 22c composing cathode portions 12, 22 of laminated capacitors elements 10, 20 are united with a silver paste P of the same material to the material composing the silver paste layer 12C and silver paste layer 22C. A filling material 81, which prevents the liquid silver paste P from climbing from the sides of the cathode portions 12, 22 to the sides of the anodes portions 11, 21 due to a capillarity to make its entering impossible when immersing a plurality of elements corresponding to the capacitor elements 10, 20 into a silver paste bath, is positioned between adjacent resists 13, 23.
