PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the error of a magnetic disk device in an early stage. SOLUTION: A state judgement part to which an I/O request received by an I/O request reception part is delivered acquires a device state by issuing a state confirmation command to a queue for control commands of the magnetic disk device. When the acquired device state is normal, the I/O request part issues an I/O command to a queue for the I/O commands of the magnetic disk device.
