PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the falling of powder packed into a cavity from the lower part in the upper face of a die in a compacting die where ruggedness corresponding to the ruggedness of the end face of the upper punch is formed at the upper face of the die, and the insertion time to the compacting hole in the die of each part at the outer circumference of the tip of the upper punch is averaged. SOLUTION: In the compacting die where ruggedness corresponding to the ruggedness of the end face in the upper punch is formed at the upper face 1a of the die 1, and the position of at least a part of the edge of the inlet in the compacting hole 2 of the die is made lowest in the upper face of the die by the ruggedness, the upper face of the die 1 is provided with a weir 7 higher than the lowest part in the edge 2a of the inlet in the compacting hole 2, and the circumference of the compacting hole 2 is surrounded with the weir 7.
