PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner with a compact dust collecting unit. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner comprises: a body; a dust separating section which is installed on the body and separates dust contained in the air and forms a dust ejecting section from which separated dust is ejected; a dust collecting chamber which has a dust inflow section into which dust ejected from the dust ejecting section flows; and a mounting section that overlies the main body to mount the dust collecting chamber. The air leakage is prevented by the dust ejecting section and the dust inflow section comes in contact with each other by being pressurized by the force of the dust collecting chamber mounted on the mounting section.
