PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a game machine which can smoothly perform locking and unlocking, and effectively prevented from being fraudulently unlocked by inserting a fraudulent tool such as a wire. SOLUTION: A swingable lock member 8 is pivoted swingably by a locking rod 7, an engaging section 8a with a cam member 6 is provided on the swingable lock member 8, and at the same time, an engagement protruding section 8b for preventing the locking rod 7 from moving to the unlocking side is provided. A sliding lock member 9 which can engage with a fastening section of a receiving fixture is arranged in a manner to be slidable along the locking rod. A fixed fastening section 18 engaged with the engagement protruding section 8b of the swingable lock member and prevents the locking rod 7 from moving to the unlocking side is provided on a base frame body. On the sliding lock member 9, a distal end engaging section 9a is provided. In this case, the distal end engaging section 9a is engaged with the engagement protruding section 8b of the swingable lock member 8 to swing the swingable lock member to move the locking rod 7 to the unlocking side by disengaging the engagement protruding section 8b the fixed fastening section 18 from each other.
