PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce a recessed part so as to protect a car part stored in the recessed part of a rear floor pan and to prevent flying of the car part to a baggage compartment from the inside of the recessed part in rear collision. SOLUTION: This car body rear part structure is furnished with a pair of right and left rear side frames 10, 10 arranged in the longitudinal direction on a car body rear part, a rear floor pan 20 supported between a pair of the rear side frames 10, 10 and having the recessed part 22 bulged downward, a straddling provided member 11 to connect the rear floor pans in the circumference of the recessed part by straddling the recessed part 22 and the car part 60 stored in the recessed part 22, and the straddling provided member 11 is arranged so as to be overlapped with the car part 60 as seen at a flat level.
