PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of ensuring tightness with a rim, preventing the degradation of steering stability even under a severe traveling condition. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire 1, a bead seat surface X of a bead part 2 is formed in a two-stage inclination, and a bead outer surface Y is inclined inwardly in the tire axial direction with respect to the tire radial direction, the angleβof inclination of the bead outer surface Y with respect to the tire radial direction is set to 1-5°inward of the tire, and the angleαof inclination of the inclined surface Xb on a bead toe 2t side of the bead seat surface X with respect to the tire axial direction is set to be 20-24°.
