<p>A construction vehicle in which a shock occurring in clutch switchover can be reduced. The construction vehicle has an engine, an accelerator pedal for controlling the speed of the engine, a main pump driven by the engine, first and second travel motors driven by pressurized oil discharged from the main pump and producing drive force for traveling, a drive shaft for receiving drive force from the first travel motor and also receiving drive force from the second travel motor, a clutch for switching between transmission and non-transmission of the drive force from the second travel motor to the drive shaft, an accelerator opening degree detection section for detecting the degree of opening of the accelerator pedal, a vehicle speed detection section for detecting the speed of the construction vehicle, and a control section. The control section selects switchover speed according to the degree of opening of the accelerator pedal detected by the accelerator opening degree detection section and switches over the clutch when the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detection section reaches the switchover speed.</p> |
