The device has a processing unit (11) for generating a control code for controlling a processing center (10) for shape cutting chipping technology of a metallic component (12). The control code is provided to control the processing center in such a manner that the processing center produces the metallic component with a design form. The control code considers a temporary deformation of the metallic component. The deformation of the metallic component is caused by processing in the processing center. An independent claim is also included for a method for generating a control code for controlling a processing center for shape cutting chipping technology of a metallic component.
