摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor integrated magnetic bearing device constructed in a stably controllable manner even when axial overload operates, to simplify the construction of a controller and reduce the length of a spindle to be rotated at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The motor integrated magnetic bearing device comprises rolling bearings and magnetic bearing combined, the rolling bearings 15, 16 supporting radial load, the magnetic bearing supporting one or both of axial load and bearing pre-load. An electromagnet 17 as part of the magnetic bearing is mounted on a spindle housing 14 so as to be opposed in no contact to both faces of a flange-shaped thrust plate 13a of a ferromagnetic body provided on the spindle 13. An axial gap motor 28 has a motor rotor 28a arranged on both faces or one face of the thrust plate 13a in common with an electromagnet target and a motor stator 28b arranged so as to be opposed to the motor rotor 28a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
