<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively manufacturing a consumer-oriented titanium alloy. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the titanium alloy includes using iron ore as its oxygen source and iron source. By using these raw materials for an element of an alloy content, the method can more inexpensively manufacture the titanium alloy than ever before, and as a result, the titanium alloy manufactured with the method can be preferably used for the consumer-oriented titanium material. The method also includes melting the titanium alloy with an electron beam in a process of manufacturing the titanium alloy to smelt the alloy containing further few impurities. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
