<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer data from a pickup to a main substrate and from the main substrate to the pickup with no crosstalk and reduced signal deterioration. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup is equipped with a light receiving part which receives reflected light from an optical disk, and the main substrate is equipped with an optical detector which detects the light obtained by the light receiving part and converts the detected light into an electrical signal. The light receiving part on the optical pickup and the optical detector on the main substrate are connected to each other by a film-like optical waveguide transmitting the light from the light receiving part to the optical detector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
