<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a commodity suitable for each consumer, and to effectively support commodity selection by each consumer. <P>SOLUTION: In a commodity selection support information supply process, a card reader/writer accepts an IC card Y set at a predetermined place by the consumer X who comes to a store A, presents card registration information registered in the IC card Y according to desiring of acquisition of commodity selection support information, and requests a shopping site management server to supply the commodity selection support information. The shopping site management server creates the commodity selection support information to be supplied and transmits the information to the card reader/writer using the presented card registration information and the information of commodity to be sold stored in a management server DB according to a selected table for determining the commodity selection support information.
